Admission Requirements and Policies Transfer Students/Credit for Previous Training MOORED ASSOCIATES BEAUTY SCHOOLS does not recruit students already attending or admitted to another college offering a similar program of study. Transfer students will be required to meet the published admissions requirements and should refer to the Michigan and Indiana Cosmetology Laws for current transfer procedures. Transfer students will only be accepted for the cosmetology course. Transfer students will be admitted on a probationary status providing they meet the admissions requirements published in the current edition of the college catalog. During the probation period, students must strictly adhere to all rules and regulations of the school. Violation of any rules or regulations may result in suspension or termination of the student's enrollment. MOORED ASSOCIATES BEAUTY SCHOOLS will accept all transfer hours awarded to a student by the State Board of Cosmetology up to a maximum of 600 hours. These hours must be submitted to the school before enrollment. Transfer students must complete a written and practical test to ensure that each transfer student is evaluated and placed correctly. MOORED ASSOCIATES BEAUTY SCHOOLS wants to ensure the success of every graduate. We believe that this success results from a thorough knowledge of fundamental skills. Therefore, the college will only accept a maximum of 600 transfer hours approved by the Michigan and Indiana Board of Cosmetology. Every student must attend our college for a minimum of 900 hours, complete all course work and meet published progress and graduation requirements to receive a diploma from MOORED ASSOCIATES BEAUTY SCHOOLS.
