What Financial Aid Options are Available?

Federal Student Loans

Because Moored Beauty Schools are accredited, you can apply for subsidized and unsubsidized student loans through the U.S. Department of Education. These loans offer competitive interest rates and flexible repayment options.

Scholarships and Grants

Many grants and scholarships are rewarded based on financial need and don’t have to be repaid. This funding may be available based on your talent, educational achievements, or financial need.

Private Loans

Private loans can help close the gap after applying for scholarships and federal loans. Ensure you carefully read the terms of any loans you sign for and can make the repayments on time.

Filling Out Your FAFSA Application

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is essential in funding your beauty school education. The FAFSA determines your eligibility for federal grants, loans, and work-study programs. Here’s how to apply:

  • Visit the FAFSA website and create an account.
  • Complete the FAFSA online. You’ll need your social security number and federal tax returns.
  • Select the correct school year based on when you want to start classes.
  • Complete the application and wait for notification that the application has been successful. The confirmation page will have an estimate of your financial aid amount so you can start planning how to finance the program.
  • Complete the loan entrance counseling and sign the Master Promissory Note.

When filling out the FAFSA, please use “040063” federal school code for NUVO College and “030752” for all other locations.

Contact our financial aid advisors if you have questions about completing the FAFSA. They can provide guidance and answer questions you may have.
