My name is Buffy Leonard and I am the Director of Michiana Beauty College in Granger, IN. We are one of 5 Campuses of Moored Beauty Schools. I attended beauty school at Michiana in 2013 as a Cosmetologist, then I completed my Instructor program as well in 2016. In 2019 I came to work as an Instructor and then in 2022 I became the Director! I love to help the students learn and achieve their dreams and goals of becoming a licensed Cosmetologist. I love to keep up on new trends and old ones in our industry. It is a forever revolving profession. I will continue to learn and pass that on to our students each and every time. Without our students, we have no future industry. Knowledge is power!

I have many Certifications and training through our company and ones I have done on my own. We are given endless opportunities to learn and grow ourselves. Without continuing education, we can not help our students grow and become the best they can. Some of my many certifications came from Carol Woodard, Sam Villa, Pivot Point, CanvaMe, Redken, Matrix, Olaplex, Brazilian BlowOut and so many more.

I am a mother of 2 amazing daughters and I also have 2 grandchildren that are the light of my life! I enjoy spending time with family, I also enjoy Nascar and small track racing. My favorite vacation spot is Mackinaw & Mackinac Island. My family and I go every year and we walk the bridge.
